This e-zine brings together highlights of that work, offering an accessible overview of recent research and insights from the project.

Over the past six months, consortium members have shared their work at international conferences and seminars, contributed to media discussions across Europe and beyond, and published in highly respected academic journals.

The 5th issue of the ARENAS e-zine is live and available for free download.

As the ARENAS project passed its halfway point, months of research are turning into tangible results.

The glossary aims to make key concepts and narratives behind contemporary far-right extremism more accessible to the wider public, with publications already appearing across several European countries.

Our latest blog post features an interview with Steven Forti @stevenforti.bsky.social (Autonomous University of Barcelona @uab.cat), who is coordinating the collaborative preparation and publication of the ARENAS Glossary of Right-Wing Extremism.

As a project analysing and responding to extremist narratives that influence political and social life in Europe, ARENAS recognises the importance of equipping citizens with tools to critically assess misleading claims.

As AI becomes increasingly embedded in children’s lives, UNICEF has released Version 3 of its Guidance on AI and Children, outlining updated principles to help ensure AI systems respect and uphold children’s rights.
