Two villains with the same power duel it out for the ultimate subtraction, leaving the world a peaceful and wholesome place.

Yeah it's a tough one because it felt right when I outlined but filling in the words it feels...forced. needs looking at.

My super villain name is "The Minus" be wise I create negativity at all times. I will subtract joy and multiple anxiety and defeat. 😂

The biggest con with software was the move to software as a service. I thanks Adobe for that atrocity. While it was annoying having to buy it again, you could just rock your old version as long as needed. 2007 does docx so everything else is just maybe nice to have, but not for the price they ask.

Exactly. Straining the characters so that they are encouraged to break is part of the process. If they break, it's one outcome, if they don't we learn something else about them.

Yeah it's not ideal to say the least. But luckily Toren isn't super busy and can rope a certain First Officer into helping him fix it 😄

In everything before this WIP I was always incredibly plot and event focused. Characters were this annoyance that were needed because the story had to happen at someone.

The original outline for this story was that way. Really one horrible event after another. Now it's a boring character drama 😂

“I tell you what Alex, because it’s you, I won’t turn the comm off, I’ll ask again, trusting you’ll notice I'm using my friendly voice. So, what’s up, shuttle problems?” The sound of a heavy out-breath. Nice touch. Dramatic. “Yeah, the shuttle had some bounce on the ascent,” Alex explained. “Had to correct a few times because she kept pulling hard on the left. Toren took a moment. “Hmmm,” He took another sip of coffee. “The FO was soaked to the bone when I saw her. So obviously it was pissing down planetside. With the carbon shit in the air from atmos-processing, most likely a bit of crap got washed under the thruster cowling.” Alex spoke up, “Um-hmm. Felt like it wasn’t firing on full at. Rear side. Look, if you’re busy I can always ask Rec to send a plastobot? They ain’t good for much but they can hold a trolley and a ladder.” Toren poured the dregs of coffee into his mouth and felt his taste buds twitch. “Not gonna happen. One of those logic-brains will probably snap the thing off. No more thruster — no more problem. I’ll come down when I can. While we are here, how did the Doc get on with your boy, Ben is it?” “Yeah, Ben, he should be good. Doc reckons it’ll heal up fast, probably have a scar.” Toren let out a breath. “Good, This damn rust bucket is falling to bits. Don’t need people getting flash fried just walking down corridors. I’ll see you soon

Got a bunch but this one has a small follow up to yesterday's for those who couldn't sleep for worrying about poor Ben.
