Zubimendi is a standout player who looks an outstanding signing, and how good is it to see Gyökeres be an all-out striker and not tickle about?! Even the "pre-season is everything" doom merchants must be a little bit foggin happy.

Pre-season defeat is what it is. A win would feel nice. A Gyökeres goal would feel nice. But it means little other than sharpness. They're for stretching the legs. No need for optimism to plummet and bile to spew forth.

Isak is MEGA money. And will be injured more than we'd like. Liverpool have Ekitike to lean on. We do not.

Sesko's reps messed us around. So we moved on.

Gyökeres is elite striker, in numbers and mentality.

I know we're playing that lot tomorrow and Gyökeres is going to beat them all on his own, but I absolutely can't wait for the season to start and for all the insane jeopardy that comes with it.

There's a right way to leave a club/job. I've always liked Tomiyasu and I like him even more now. Feel for him that injuries caused such issues, but wish him nothing but health and happiness.
