Sighted at lunch today for a friends birthday.
Might need to get one for the house 🥰❤️

Mum went into care smoothly, enjoyed a lovely lunch & dinner.
We managed to get her room comfortable for her, with lots of personal touches that will make her feel at home.
Still a few last minute things to bring, but otherwise she is all set. Next few days will be the test 🤞🙏

Mums going into care next week, so we are preparing as a family, to make it as smoothe a transition as possible.

Conversation has been had with mum tonight, about her going into aged care in 3 weeks time. She took it well, or as well as could be expected, espscially after all her recent behaviour.
We will have this chat again soon I'm sure, lets hope it goes as smooth the 2nd or 3rd time

Really looking forward to my birthday this year, its been several months in the planning, and first time celebrating properly in years.

Last week was a little nuts at work, and this week is going to be the same, due to the sheer volume of work required, in a much shorter timeframe, with a few people away.
Long days, no extra pay, but hopefully some really good prospects at the end of it.

Enjoyed my PH today by re watching both the recent Dune movies, which inspired a nerdy moment afterwards of playing Dune II (dos edition), bringing back some lovely memories.
Love the good old DOS games. They are now small enough to run on browser or even from your phone 😂🤣

Made a friend on the way to the spa

Had a friend over at the house for dinner, and we chatted all night about life, work, their partner etc.. love a good night of deep & meaningful conversation.
Also cooked some amazing lamb chops with a lovely rub, some Italian mashed potato, corn on the cob & carrots. So good 😀😉
