The moon going from full moon to a red moon and starting to go back to a normal full moon, then my camera battery door fell off.

Here's my first edit on the March 3rd Lunar Eclipse. 15 moon shots, 1 foreground. Taken over a 3 hourish period.

All of this to say, the event has radicalized my mother against ICE until her dying breath. She's convinced, as I am convinced, that the moving him around, making it hard to contact him, was all purposeful.

Anyway, while working one of the marginal jobs that immigrants have worked since time immemorial, he got picked up by local cops, and then ICE. And then, and then boy, my aging boomer parents found themselves as his advocate in the system, and begin to get an education in the US immigration system

Somewhere along the line, two, three years ago, my parents just sort of decided the Russian's kids were their grandkids, too, and we've incorporated them into our family for holidays. They come over for Thanksgiving, they're over all the time.

So, we have some family friends who are Russian. About five years ago, they started renting from my folks, and they are here on an asyum visa; though they will not talk about it, they were obvious dissidents of some kind. Anyway, their kids are my kids ages, so of course my folks were on board
