Understanding the theory and praxis of abolition in this light is keenly important, namely because Pan-Africanism, Black Marxism, iterations of Black Nationalism, and other radical ideological tendencies within the Black Radical Tradition may be able to more strongly adapt abolitionist frameworks and modes of engagement into their own theories of change.
