My family is going to be in Prague and Brno for a week starting in just a few days. Anyone with any good Czechia/Czech Republic knowledge have any tips or hidden gems we should check out? Pun not intended....

I love Olivia Dean, can jam to the Maria's(if they count as new is a question I have but...), even found myself enjoying KATSEYE, which I usually don't "get" kpop. I'm not a hater, but every time Sombr opens his mouth I see a child trying to fake depth and life experience. Idk if that makes sense.

I like Timothy Chalamet!

People keep telling me that but I can't stand him. The depressed Timothy Chalamet vibe prejudices me against him instantly and the music hasn't made up that gap for me at all.

I don't think about her at all either but in a world where Alex Warren and Sombr are up for best new artist.... Give me five more Tate McRae please!

It's Vivi he's such a great supporting character that he becomes the protagonist in everyone's hearts. Ramza is the best protag that starts as a protag though.

Alex Warren is doing an arena tour? Alex "f-ing" Warren? He shouldn't be able to fill a drive thru only Starbucks! Alex Warren is the answer to the question nobody asked of, "what if someone sang cliche lyrics not only badly but pretentiously?" I'm ashamed of any choir who performs with this oaf!

Oh I guess I DO have 2 negative thoughts on the Grammy nominees.

1. We shouldn't give out country winners this year, they should be on probation until they learn to try harder.

2. The Fact that "Your ways better" is nominated for best CCM... Might be the strongest evidence ever that God is dead.

I don't have a lot of other feelings about the Nominees. I think Golden is THE Song of the year and if it doesn't win you are kidding yourself. Though there is nothing else I really want it to win. Gabriela or Defying Gravity should take Pop duo/group song.

I would really like Sabrina Carpenter to take home something this year. I could make an argument for Album of the year, but honestly it would probably feel too much like giving awards to Short and Sweet/Espresso again and I get that. GNX, Mutt, or ChromaKopia would be killer picks!

I honestly think all the Record of the Year nominees are great! I don't like Anxiety but I think Doechii is so great and talented! I don't like that song but I'm still glad they are nominated.

Olivia Dean, Leon Thomas, The Marias, and KATSEYE would honestly all be great choices for Best New Artist. Maybe Addison Rae, I didn't listen to her album but I'm starting to learn that people absolutely love it. Maybe I'll give it a shot and regret blowing it off.

As down as I am on Sombr being, best new artist, Alex Warren would be way worse. I keep expecting people to shout psych any day after pretending they like Ordinary. I guess singing a boring cliche song, and singing it badly just works for people... But why though?

Why is Sombr up for, best new artist! He should win only a couple of awards! The man who looks the saddest that he looks like Timothy Chalamet! Or Most likely Person you would never talk to in real life because he'll quote his own bad, sad boy poetry at you in the first 3 minutes of meeting!

Alright I can't stop listening to Art of Loving by Olivia Dean. Every time I'm trying to decide what to listen to it's the first thing I think about. I'm a fan, I'm not sure if it's just really good or Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars just made me into a sucker for modern retro pastiche music but....

I know I'm stuck on this Scrubs thing. But I really just want everything in the show to say that the med school season never happened. But all of the actual evidence we see proves that it did happen. It's just the most interesting way to acknowledge it.

I can't stop thinking about how I want scrubs revival to handle med school. I want a scene where JD hears someone talking about Dave Franco and imagines what if Dave Franco was working at the hospital. And it's just a scene of Cole? And then Cole shows up he works there but JD never comments.

I don't know if what I'm meaning is coming across I just think having your cake and eating it shamelessly would be fun. For the record I love Scrubs Med School and wish it had gotten a fairer chance.

Something like having Zach Braff arrive at the hospital and monologue something like "sacred heart it's great how little it's changed wouldn't it be weird if it was turned into a med school." But just have Lucy as part of the cast in the episode and even reference things from her season.

I doubt anyone cares about the scrubs Revival as much as I do but here is how I hope they deal with the last season of the original run. I hope they make it very clear in text that it didn't happen but subtextually make it clear it did.

My video game hot take is that. I love anime arena fighters. I know people crap on them and I can agree they are sometimes lazy. But flashy visuals and simple gameplay focused on timing that I feel like I can get better at. It's just really satisfying and gives me a taste of the show I love.

Thanks! That's awesome! We are going to black light theater one night! There is a coffee shop near Prague Castle we are aware of that employs adults with disabilities so we are going to try to find that. We are also doing two days in Brno as well. We are excited for their Christmas market!
