OR he was assured certain things* when renegotiating his deal, passed up £300m to go to Saudi, feels the assurances haven’t been met, hasn’t got a good relationship with his boss, feels he’s been scapegoated whilst others haven’t, hates losing & has expressed his annoyance.

I grew up in Liverpool, I used to respect the fanbase and largely still do, but it’s chock full of people who can’t fathom players are humans, can be treated badly and deserve some slack if they react as humans.

No, but it’s not about him being dropped and only that. This is your issue, you look for a single issue and focus on that. This is about who he is, what he was promised, what he’s rejected, how it appears publicly and how he is being treated currently. It is a series of issues not a single issue.
