It will be interesting to see if the guns used in the Toronto mass shooting came from the USA. Despite Canada’s thorough checkpoints at the border, my bet is that they are ours. Another reason to be “proud.”

The CDC is now investigating a possible link between vaccinations and autism. That myth has been debunked by numerous scientific studies. This administration chooses to make-up their own chaotic “reality” so people will be scared and untrusting, at taxpayers’ expense. Get your vaccinations now.

I trust Trudeau, because he’s smart, rational, and has no reason to lie. Our prez is bullying us by pushing up inflation that WE will pay for. I have no interest in being “entertained” by whatever clown show Frump will give us tonight in his SOTU speech. The SOTU is F’ed U. i’m going to bed.

Lets’ not tune in to the clown show tonight. We all know what the state of the union is, and we’ll surely hear all about it later anyway. All the orange emperor wants is adulation and high tv ratings.

I have a feeling that Trump and Vance’s utterly humiliating double teaming against a class act like Zelensky willl go a long way toward (1) gaining global support for Ukraine and (2) showing American MAGAs what they elected.

It’s like tRump and JD are trying every day to disgrace us more in the eyes of the world than they did the day before.

Gov Ron DeSantis announced the creation of the Florida State Department of Governmental Efficiency team to eliminate unnecessary spending and spending inconsistent with state policies. He’ll interfere with efforts to reduce gun violence, hunger, domestic abuse. He’ll only protect hetero white men.

There is consensus in the medical community and by everyone who actually knows anything that gender affirming care is life-saving .

Frump’s executive orders, if implemented, will lead to the deaths of children and youth.

The USA has the most underfunded and unappreciated education system among developed nations. Some Americans regard it primarily as a babysitting service that enables them to work, whereas most actual babysitting services are privately funded and expensive

So Frump’s plan is to make it worse instead of better. The wealthy will pay for fine educations and will also provide childcare for their kids, and the rest of us will be victims by yet another move to destroy us and the next generation.

I agree. My plan was to grafually go to Bluesky, but I’ve found only a few of my current FB friends there.

I wonder…. Is there an under-the-radar resistance movement forming? Not just us regular citizens, but something military or judicial … or something I can’t even think of. If this attack were from outside, we would be at war. I hope that there is a plan in place to effectively resist.

Dealing with a malignant narcissist can make one confused and overwhelmed, which is his intent. We must consciously remained detached, be observant, and calmly plan the best strategy in reaction. Do not react emotionally.

A pause on federal grants and loans starting today. Domestic violence victims, medical research studies participants, and SNAP recipients, schools, etc. will be impacted.

There are going to be a lot more homeless people and more sick or dead people.

There are a lot of MAGAs up in the hills of NC and in Florida. Do they understand how tRump’s idea of defunding FEMA would hurt them? How can they spin that to be the fault of the party that is not in power while our own personal Hitler is openly talking about it?
