Characteristics of the Peryton are described as having a stag’s head, antlers and forelegs combined with a bird’s body, wings and hindquarters. They are known for casting a human shadow, which changes to their own form after they kill a human. Once a peryton kills a human, its shadow becomes its own, its invulnerability is lost, and it can never kill again. Xylia is in a crouching position, looking off to the side looking more like prey than a predator. Does this cause your predator senses to kick in or will you offer yourself to be her first and final prey?
