Couldn’t write another song going forward until I had the courage to look into my grieving heart and write this one. My heart writes the lyrics. My soul writes the music. It’s on Spotify if you’d like to hear it.

I’ve been writing some pretty emotive songs but I knew I wouldn’t be able to write going forward until I had the courage to look into my heart & it was in a lot of pain because my heart writes the lyrics & my soul writes the music. I’d lost my sweet Bobby. We’d been together 23 years.

Then created an arm of Triad Musicians Matter, which is the main nonprofit 501(c)(3). The arm of it is called The Guitar Resettlement Project and we give donated guitars to refugees resettling in the Triad of NC. Music heals.

Established 2 501c3 non profits that are for musicians in The Triad area of North Carolina where we can give financial grants to musicians who can’t gig and earn money because of illness, accident, natural disaster, etc.

Looking forward to interacting with people who are critical thinkers who are as disappointed as I am about the state of our country.
