Growing away from business software and calling your shot. I could create another business-to-business, software-as-a-service company, but is that what I want?

Text: Most startups operate in a circular loop of sorts. They earn money, by promising businesses or individuals being able to make more money, allowing those businesses to invest or spend more, thereby enabling further business transactions. It's an important cycle, which contributed to economic growth. I’m not dismissing the value of this approach and recognize its role and value. However, what I'm truly interested in is creating a company benefiting us more broadly, something that genuinely moves humanity forward, an open breakout company. Unlike traditional startups focused mainly around revenue and serving customers, such company would explicitly prioritize universal advancement, while still operating and moving lean like a startup.

i've also tried cleaning it with a cloth lightly damped with isopropyl alcohol which worked well in my opinion, though logitech recommends against it — "Don’t use [...], strong solvents, or abrasives."

good choice. pro tip: clean it often and well, especially the rubber grip, as it tends to gray/yellow out over time.

love the new website 🫶 if i ware to give one piece of feedback, i'd maybe make the timing on the entry animation a bit tighter.

exactly, plus make sure people can relate to that story in some way.

it got acquired the same year, which felt pretty sweet, but left a void.

i even tried launching a seed fund focused on community-first companies to fill that void... it didn’t work out.

but something felt off. i was working upwards of 14 hours a day, and didn't feel the joy from designing for others like i used to.

last year, i dove into buildspace and created communities club — a niche social platform to create, discover, and monetize communities.

good shit.

love to see other people writing down goals physically on paper.
