Big news for a #SmokefreeUK! @senedd.wales has voted for the Tobacco & Vapes Bill, which aims to help end cancers caused by smoking and create the first smokefree generation. We now want to see the Bill passed in @houseoflords.parliament.uk and implemented across all four nations.

We were delighted to see @drscottarthurmp.bsky.social's Rare Cancers Bill pass third reading this afternoon in the House of Commons.

This Bill is a crucial step forward for those living with rare and less common cancers, and we look forward to supporting it through the House of Lords.

Smoking is linked to at least 15 types of cancer, is the biggest driver of health inequalities and kills 1 person every 7 minutes in the UK.

My dad was one of them.
