there are three different models applied to Germany & they predict mainly the same number of infections. The approaches are quite different which makes it interesting how we can explain the difference btw. US&Ger.
This is needed from a science pov. It will make us stronger & reliable.

I mentioned on x some reasons which are more based on questions on plausibility. They will not explain the high difference. This must be in the models and assumptions.
I’m NOT taking one side (Ger vs. US modellers)! I’m curious in which parts thy differ from each other. Interestingly,
I don’t want to discuss the quality of a elementary school mathematical operation. It can be done by all of us. It’s easy to use data.

Yes, but the intern. audience don’t know it which is 1 reason why one should mention it when you start to argument.
I appreciate the effort of those people providing these models and the output data but they have an error. What is it? 2.55 +/- 0.5 to 1 is to be expected. This shifts ours to US.
Anyway, let’s talk about the difference itself:

It was never „good practice“ to start complaining without giving sources. For Ger, there is no direct data that earns the non-scientific term „good“. There are reliable models but they have their errors. It’s expected to have slightly higher numbers in Ger too due to asymptomatic infections.

Well, the difference was already mentioned on x and reasons were discussed.
What are the sources you are talking about? What does it mean to have good data? Honestly, we have no good data in Germany for this. Also just estimations.

Politisch geht’s um Sozialabbau statt um eine gesunde Bevölkerung. Das Gesundheit kein Thema ist Zahlen solidarisch alle durch steigende Beiträge. Dann kommt Streeck und überlegt hohe Kosten durch Leistungskürzungen. Zündeln. Kristina möchte Leistungskürzungen bei Behinderungen.
