She’d close her book.. and place it down on her bed.. that look of disgust was gone completely, her pure act was back up!

Hearing that word.. date… it made her expression contort into one that showed her true feelings.. her tone had even shifted to match… she was already his friend— kind of.. but calling this a date..? She couldn’t have this..

“Date..? You can’t be serious..— i’d never… not with you…”

Interesting… she’ll just have to try and ‘help’

Well— To be fair… Magary doesn’t exactly care too much… especially if it’s just SOME of her features, Zelda’s still royalty..

And For Magary.. that means a free easy life if she’s able to marry her.. so now she’s gonna probably pester Zelda..

“Oh? Well if you’re treating.. then i suppose i could go out and get something..”

She’d seemed to be… happy enough to keep up her facade— which was a good thing.. if she’d really wanted to get rid of him— she would’ve done it already.. or attempted to..

And that— was part of what Magary was thinking— had she continued to be nice..— what if Zelda had magically got her royal status back—? She could get married to zelda and mooch off of her!

A great plan.. but it took a lot to execute.. thus, she’d began considering the best gaslighting method…

“Oh? My rest was great! Thank you!”

The Saintess seemed to show a smile.. after all, it was respectful to show royalty their respect… On the inside..? Magary’s thoughts were a bit different..

She’d seemed to twitch.. after hearing his voice.. her expression hadn’t changed a bit, only placing the book on her lap

“Ah, it’s just a book on how to put down an Oni companion.. nothing special…”

nobody would know if she was joking or not… since her tone didn’t suggest a joke… maybe she was..

Honestly, Magary was quite engrossed into her book, so much so that she hadn’t noticed [𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫] had awakened from their slumber.. she was glad the snoring wasn’t too loud..

This sight of her was breathtaking.. almost like she was a whole new person… and extremely beautiful… odd…

Right now Magary is 21 and pretty much, looking for a rich person to mooch off of— and abandon her saintess duties- even though she knows she’ll never be able to..

Once you meet Magary, she’ll seem like a prim, and proper maiden… that is— until you either make her angry or see through her guise of an attitude.. which will only lead to her being more.. disrespectful..

That had bothered Magary

That entire day..? She’d cursed into her pillow.

Her jerk of a childhood friend had talked her into coming out and seeing what they’d wanted.. leading to her being well, escorted to the king and being evaluated by a ring…

The ring had shone a brightly, proving she was indeed a saintess, But instead of her being happy.. there was only one thing.➡︎

Mooching off of her neighbor’s food.. she was beloved around the village..

That was until half a year after her Seventeenth birthday..
