My ranking of Taylor’s albums confuses me because I always rank Evermore 1st (and I stand by it), and 1989 is 2nd or 3rd here and there, but also, 1989 is the only album I can listen to regardless of my mood, while Evermore is reserved for specific times

Twitter didn't gain relevance by being the biggest platform, it gained relevancy through the quality of the content and individuals. The main goal for everyone here should be to encourage global defender, media, and establishment accounts to transition to #BlueSky. That'll provide legitimacy.

All I want for Christmas is for Twitter to keep bleeding away millions of users every day to Bluesky until Twitter is nothing more than a bigger, emptier, Truth Social shithole.

That’s true, but I hope people persist with this. Artists have no incentive to move if people aren’t active on here - we’re the reason they’re on Twitter. So eventually if they see people ditching Twitter and moving here, they’ll come as well

And I get it, but it’s also how people like Elon and his bigotry army keep pushing misinformation and racism and hatred on everyone, and i wish people would stop giving them that ammo

I def think there’s 2 types of accounts which are behind the why usage isn’t as high as it needs to be yet:
1. The mutuals thing I referred to in the first post
2. Bigger accounts content with the high engagement they get on Twitter, and those fishing for TN notices

For me that’s not really a factor because Taylor posts rarely there anyway, and I’m on private so no interactions with TN. I can get the big updates off like Insta or something

I so badly want this to be the only social rather than using both this and twitter, but too many oomfs aren’t active enough here yet to make the switch permanent. I hope they do though, I’m tired of the constant misinformation, racism, misogyny and bigotry on that app
