My stupid dumb son got himself a UTI. I’m on track for going gray by 30 I guess. If he needs more vet visits I might try to take some emergency comms, til then I’ve tentatively reopened my Ko-fi store (tho still no mailing possible to the USA I’m sorry, any USA orders will be refunded)

turns out some of one my doctors who needed to submit important documents lied to me and never did it (after repeatedly telling it was done.) nurse told me at the last 10 minutes that friday being feasible is unrealistic now.

I don't know if it's just inadvisable to take the risk at this point. I'm exhausted from constantly trying not to faint, the arrhythmia, the severe pain, etc. I'd still like to pursue the procedure.

If I were to try to get the ticket a couple of days after the surgery, it'd still be a massive risk because of needing assistance with my dog, who is a bit too hyper to be handled in that condition. Delaying the procedure would just delay it indefinitely with the current circumstances. I'm at a loss

With the current circumstances, I am being given a massive gamble. I either get the plane ticket for the only person who can help me through recovery at its lowest cost (tomorrow), for a surgery I might be denied, or I wait until the last minute and pay triple the price. or be alone for recovery.

So the whole ordeal rn:
From the looks of it, I won't know if I'm actually receiving the surgery until literally the day before it's scheduled. It's just as terrifying as it sounds. I am being kept in the dark unless there are last-minute roadblocks I need to fix asap. The fixed date is Friday

update: insurance still is pending for the surgery but the confirmed date, if accepted, is one week from today…AAAAAAUGH

i dont feel comfortable scheduling things for recovery in case I end up timing it poorly, but seeing the ticket price increasing in my periphery is a bit scary. last minute major surgery is not a comforting phrase

begging for surgery scheduling updates for the last while (the original time frame is a week away) and all ive gotten in reply is this. christ this is getting scary....
