Short answer: No one cares.

There is no reason to take any AI service at their word. So many have already lied or effectively rug-pulled people by changing their terms quietly after being established.

ESPECIALLY when they are implementing it in a way that people cannot easily see or opt-out of.

So, uh, that thing where people stare at a few different chats/servers they're in, wanting to say something but it not feeling quite warranted or wanted the places you look, is when most people just fucking post onto the internet instead, huh?

The feeling of that mundane but quirky, the specific so relatable that it's comfortingly ordinary, so human.

Glimpses of things they'll be repurposed for, things they'll store and organize, while the cats circle around to inspect what this process of boxes is. Some of it almost animated in a split second in my head.

I just had this little... almost like a Ghibli moment in my head getting home. Just as I got in my room, shooing the cats in so I can shut the door behind me, I put my bag down and then throw a few small cardboard boxes I took home from work onto a stack of them I've been collecting.
