4. Representation Matters. The whole Ixalan set brought a lot of pride, especially since I never got to experience the first runs of Ixalan until LCI. This guy though? Makes my little heart sing with the burn decks that can come from him. Have to finish tuning this deck up.

3. The Bear and his Bear. SurClaw holds a special place in my heart, as it fulfills the Timmy in me and swing out with big green creatures. The fact that it’s a haste enabler, and the amount of manadorks this deck runs, it can get very crazy VERY quickly.

2. This card has won me more games than it should. I run this card in an Artifacts Matters Tivit deck (Time Sieving was just too boring), and generating so many treasures/clues has been so fun with this type of win con in the 99.

This will be through the lens of Commander, but this will forever be one of my favorite decks that I built. Faldorn in the CZ allows a LOT of the exile tricks to accelerate, and the token output is outstanding once the engine gets running.

Just had my first performance with my students. And it was for the superintendent of my district. The rush is real 😭
