The equator has a relationship to the north and south poles that we call "dual". The poles are the furthest you can be, on earth, from the equator.
TIL Buenos Aires and Shanghai have about the same relationship to the Madrid->Nairobe flight path!

If you want to learn CGA, you really want Projective GA first. PGA does distances/angles/planes/lines/points/rotations, CGA is more advanced!
