After a serious leg injury caused a 4+ year rehab process + led me to drop out of grad school and end my dreams of an academic career, I am also deeply passionate about better understanding the psychological toll of orthopedic injury and how to best engage patient voices in rehabilitation research.

I completed my graduate education in public health and behavioral neuroscience at the University at Buffalo (masters alum x2) and have spent the last five years working in science policy and civic science. A lot of my most recent work has focused on training early-career scientists on these topics.

I'm returning to academia for the first time in over four years (more on what and where soon!) and am looking to grow my network in psychiatric epidemiology, youth mental health, and knowledge translation/mobilization.
