The AD&D Intellivision ad. A big green dragon vs a guy with a bow and arrow. He's on a bridge. You can't tell what's below, but I imagine that it's the fires of hell. Or at least some dope lava.

An ad for the AD&D v2 video game. This is apparently a 3D-ish dungeon crawler? For the Intellivision? What? A bow and arrow guy is aiming at a dragon off-screen. You can tell cuz its casting a big black shadow. Oh no, a ghost is going to get him from behind! Look out, bow and arrow guy!

Corporate Media Buries Story of US and Israel Killing 168 in Girls School Attack No front-page stories in NYT, WSJ, WaPo. No mention on NBC and CBS Sunday Shows. No stand alone segments on Evening News shows. A death count on par with the OKC bombing is relegated to the back page.

I wrote about how the US and Israel carried out an attack on an Iranian girls school on par with the OKC bombing and US media relegated it to a back page story. No stand alone evening news segments, no front page stories, it made A11 in the NYT then everyone moved on.

I didn't really have MTV in college, which is when Britney hit. Before college, I remember thinking that everyone on MTV was old than me. Once I graduated, it felt like everyone on MTV was younger than me. I missed the whole thing!
