Used to do a bit in undergrad where I pretended I read The Power Broker by saying stuff from Robert Moses’ Wikipedia + random untrue vibes-based yapping to test whether they’d correct me or nervously agree it was in the book. Found out zero of the faculty who’d claimed to have read it actually had.
