Just wrapped up the @daytonaio HackSprint in San Francisco - an in-person hackathon focused on building AI agents with sharp reasoning and independent decision-making.

We've eliminated the barrier that separated humans for millennia...Physical Distance.

I truly believe this is the greatest time of human history to be alive...

We're hyperconnected yet fundamentally ungrateful.

We take FaceTime, Instagram DMs and Google Meet for granted...

100 years ago, distance just meant disconnection. If someone moved away, you lost them. No video calls or instant messages or even seeing their face.

Been getting a ton of inbound about my work at @getjustpaid and how I'm able to Vibe Code using Claude Code.

This photo just came up - my little proof of work as a mentor at ETHGlobal.

Had the best time mentoring alongside Sneha Kumari (we go way back from a previous startup) and Prakhar Ojas, who first introduced me to Nirvana 🎸.

Good vibes, great builders like this that make the journey worth it.

How long before we realize we’re just a series of prompts ourselves?

What if we’re Sora 10 - and whoever’s prompting us is simply the operator?

What if we’re nothing more than a server farm, rows of high-end GPUs, running inside someone else’s machine?

And I can't wait to see what we all create.

Add to that taste and curation, and you have the new creative frontier. The democratization of filmmaking tools doesn't diminish the role of the artist. It elevates it.

The future isn't about who has the best tools. It's about who has the best stories.

Storytelling.

The technical barriers are crumbling. Soon, what will separate great content from the noise will be the same thing it's always been: compelling narratives and the ability to tell a story that matters.

We're 18-24 months away from being able to create full 1080p movies that are genuinely publishable. Not demos. Actual content that audiences will watch and enjoy.

And this is where it gets interesting.

When everyone has access to near-perfect visual quality, what becomes the differentiator?

I just got early beta access to Sora2, OpenAI's newest video generation model, and I'm genuinely blown away. With just a couple of prompts, you can generate film-quality footage that would have required entire production crews and weeks of post-production just a year ago.

We're entering a new era of filmmaking, and it's happening faster than anyone imagined.

Was at a Hackathon where I've seen devs using the free version of Windsurf and simply using the Claude Code Extension.

When asked they said "No point of paying these AI IDEs - just use Claude Code bro"
