While I agree that not everything can be labeled as extremism, when the PM acknowledges that terrorism is changing and we’re not keeping up and when misogynistic influencers and ideologically driven attacks on women are on the rise. I don’t agree with the decision to exclude misogyny.

The gov has rejected a proposal to expand the definition of extremism to include extreme misogyny, env extremism & conspiracy theorists. Despite a Home Office review recommending this, the Home Sec has chosen to focus on Islamist & far-right extremism, arguing a broader definition is too vague.

Don’t be fooled - this man doesn’t care about what happened. Platforms profit from keeping harmful content up, prioritising money over people’s safety. But he’ll tweet to make it sound like he cares, all to fuel a political agenda of hatred and keep the cycle of profit going.

It’s interesting how Elon Musk tweeted endlessly about the tragic murder of three beautiful young girls in Southport, yet refused to take down the violent content from Twitter that the murderer consumed, except in Australia.
