BIG PICTURE:
Zohran wins 50%+ in 16 ADs, and Zohran + Lander are 50%+ in 33 ADs total. Highlighted in yellow are the 14 incumbents on this list that didn't run on the WFP line in 2024 and Epstein's district, which is now open.
@socialists.nyc, this is your scoreboard...

As NYWFP works to consolidate support around its slate of candidates, we're proud to rank @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social #1 🥳
To give voters clear guidance, we're ranking a full slate of 5 candidates. When we unite, we can defeat Cuomo & elect a mayor who fights for us. Let's get this done!

One think I realized is that Eaddy, Tawanda West, Kelly Davis (who successfully fought to free her husband from malicious prosecution by the state), Tamara Lanier (who has a book out you should read!) all have teams around them. There’s no rest without community.

my takeaways from this, though, are that ramos and myrie are probably done, for different reasons. myrie has zero juice, even on the friendliest territory (black, BK, middle age brackets). ramos has juice, but no money, and it's getting too late in the cycle to catch up to everyone else in $

zohran at 20% with the 18-34 crowd shows that the social media has hit saturation, if he consolidates the friendly demographics in the other age brackets (w/ more exposure & time) he breaks into the top tier of candidates

The Democratic Central Committee just voted to appoint the white, anti-choice, FOP-endorsed state rep who introduced the bill to strip CAIR from the Maryland hate crimes commission my next state senator in our 66% black district.
Vacancy appointments by party officials must end.

+1 lol, but alsobrooks generally ran a fairly unassertive campaign in both the primary and the general and clearly assumed that endorsements would drag her to finish. the race could have been unambigiously in the clear for the national party months before it eventually was

Op-Ed: Keep Creative City and Southwest Open
Earlier this month, Baltimore City Public Schools leadership announced their recommendation to the Board of School Commissioners that Creative City Public Charter School and Southwest Baltimore Charte...
I wrote a public letter to the School Board in the @baltimorebeat.bsky.social urging them to not to close Creative City and Southwest.

it goes without saying, but o'malley as dnc chair would be a disaster, and cardin/van hollen/alsobrooks' statement, while entirely expected, is ill-fated. o'malley is the architect of the modern strategy of the bpd. he is not going to lead a democratic revival with black & brown voters

The neighborhoods adjacent to Johns Hopkins went 85%+ for no. Between Uncommitted and Question H, the progressive core of the city has been solidified as a coherent voting bloc (for the first time ever), defined by I-83 and Greenmount Ave

Mapped out the Question H result
White voters went 70%+ for no, whereas Black/Latino voters were about 55% no - 45% yes
Amongst black voters, No did particularly well in mixed-use neighborhoods and blocks close to the universities (JHU/MSU)
This closely mirrors the Uncommitted primary result
