Spending this long bank holiday weekend resting and recovering, but I’m honestly gutted as I was meant to be in Wales right now hiking and adventuring. Hoping I can make it back there soon when I’m back on my feet.

To top it off, I managed to take a tumble and badly sprain my ankle. Had no choice but to keep walking on it at the time, which probably made it worse. I’ve finally had a proper rest day and fingers crossed I’m on the mend.

Having my weekend coffee and figured now’s as good a time as any for a little update since I’ve been quiet. The Spanish blackout threw everything into chaos, getting home was a mission and even two days later we were still without water.

We didn’t have any prep as we were staying in an Airbnb. No restaurants, most of the shops were shut or only allowing one bottle of water. It was craaazy

Absolute disaster. Either broken or badly sprained my ankle. Full blackout in Spain. No power, no signal, no water, no food. Spent the night limping door to door for candles. Power’s finally back but still no water. Trying to fly home today if this chaos ever ends and the universe stops testing me

At the local game. VIP box, naturally. But guess who we spot in the cheap seats? The local guiri army, beers in hand, sunburns in full force. Classic.
