Lol I just got finished having a huge meltdown about this same thing. Like our grocery bill alone has tripled and we’ve been trying so hard to tighten the belt. This kind of living is so unsustainable and yet there are zero tangible safety nets!

Your work and perspective is a gift given freely, I’m sorry so many people are throwing it back in your face in some blind pursuit of ‘decency’ because they cannot exact power in their own lives.

Against all odds, I’m actually really fucking busy on hourly comics day this year. Usually it’s just eight hours of me at my cintiq and now I’m like, going places and doing things and seeing friends?? Who am I??

Number one issue I have with drawing rn is that I always wish I could draw like someone else. Not necessarily “better” but like, I wish I could ape someone else’s vibe on a project by project basis. Unfortunately, everything I draw will always look like I drew it.
