Cal Raleigh very seriously asked the beat writers to create a text thread and update him on what his pitchers are doing while he's gone at the WBC. I'm pretty sure Logan is going to get to his locker tomorrow to a giant sign that just says SINKER with a big red X through it.

There was no sudden pull or "grab" with Miller's oblique, just a lingering feeling of soreness. He's had a PRP injection to combat the inflammation.

Speedy Mariners prospect Victor Labrada strained his oblique on a swing in the cages this week and has been shut down. Hollander couldn't give a specific timetable other than that he'll "be down for a bit"

J.P. Crawford (shoulder) will be taking live ABs on one of the back fields today and will DH after the off-day Monday. The plan is he'll DH for the upcoming week and be back in the field the week of the eights.

Justin Hollander says Bryce Miller is dealing with some inflammation in his left oblique so they're skipping his next scheduled start. Says this is a typical complaint with Miller when ramping up in spring, but the soreness is lingering longer than usual so they opted to shut him down for the week.
