Also the standards of a public shooting range seem to be higher than that of selecting target packages for bombing into oblivion. There is zero excuse for striking an elementary school multiple times.

FFS for a war of choice the United States left obvious targets open to attack.

Even in Ukraine they've got guys with WWII era machine guns defending against these same drones and these "highly competent" people couldn't manage that? @tomnicholas.bsky.social

The word you are looking for, Tom, is "bad." A demented authoritarian illegally and immorally bombing a foreign country is bad.

Gas in Toronto at $1.55/L

It had gone up to $1.32 just a few days ago.

All because Trump wants Americans to forget he likes to fuck children.

If we get out of this mess without Donald Trump doing the unthinkable and using a nuclear weapon somewhere, it will be a miracle.

This honestly terrifies me.

Drone strikes on Amazon Web Services facilities this week in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain highlight the vulnerability of cloud facilities β€” prominent symbols of US tech power in the region and hard to defend against air attack.

Fars News Agency, an outlet affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said on Thursday that Iran targeted Amazon and Microsoft facilities in recent drone strikes.

Experts say Amazon’s facilities were likely targeted by Iran. Microsoft said it had not experienced any outages in the region.

The strikes mark what is believed to be the world’s first military attack against the US β€œhyperscalers” that dominate the global cloud computing market.

That could create a chilling effect on the UAE and Saudi Arabia’s plans to spend billions of dollars on local AI infrastructure in the coming years, a crucial plank of the oil-rich states’ efforts to diversify their economies.

β€œThe Iranians view data centres as part of the conflict,” said Matt Pearl, a director at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a think-tank.

It’s unnerving to be at risk in the country that was once the last, best hope.

It hurts to know your neighbors might like to see you dead. It stings to know the kids you see in the neighborhood are being subject to abuse & you can’t stop it.

The future is uncertain but despair is a fascist’s ally.

Russia *has* nothing on DJT.

The idea that there’s some financial, personal, or sexual secret in the SVR, FSB, or GRU archives that would ventilate him is 2017 era BlueAnon nonsense.

He likes theft, he likes rape, he likes murder; it sets a heirarchy for him.

He likes shared values.

It’s simple.

DID THE NAVY JUST SINK SHIPPING?

Was there any discussion about the impact that sinking an Iranian frigate near a heavily trafficked shipping lane would have on global shipping.

The survivors were brought into Galle on the SW coast of Sri Lanka, which is near a heavily congested route.

Maybe pull some museum pieces out and set them up prior to war of choice.

WWII AA was capable of defending against these things. Or those fancy radar guided C-RAMs.

This is ridiculous, @protonprivacy.bsky.social.

You gave up the identity of a customer (as required by law) via an FBI request. You could be writing a guide on how customers can help prevent this from happening again, not frivolously attacking the integrity of a nonprofit journalism organization.

Watch closely. The Administration may seek to get in bed with the dangerous Iranian cult MEK. The MEK was tied to Saddam Hussein and was on the US terrorist list. Rudy Giuliani, Louis Freeh, Newt Gingrich and others supported and took money from them to get them off the list. Bad bedfellows!
