How to measure something on your canvas ... 📏📐

Enable the Scale property of the rulers (sometimes hidden on subtool properties).
There´s also options for Composition Guides.

But in #ClipStudioPaint it´s possible to save colors in the Command Bar (!?)

You can create different categories: warms, cools, greys, harmonies..

Right-Click on the Command Bar, select Add Drawing Color and drag them over each other to create a drop-down group.

Just discovered you can shrink the new Tool Sliders floating panel to it's minimum size then change the values by dragging up and down on the icons.

If you don't want floating panels to snaps in #ClipStudioPaint UI ,hold the CTRL (or Mac equivalent) key while moving it.

Quick test on IPad version 3.15, 2X speed - Area Scaling set to 9 so it bleeds very deep under the lines. It’s important to use a large brush though. #ClipStudioPaint

Just created this #ClipStudioPaint BRUSH that makes color flatting extremely easy!

Just dab inside a shape to place a random color that you can use as a selection mask.

You can use the Transform tool handles to preview the placement of shapes in the desired perspective.

Holding the [ Spacebar] key hides the handles for a clear preview. #ClipStudioPaint

@jametc.bsky.social this is a workaround - can't think on a method to jump exactly to a specific preset thought. Would be an useful feature indeed.

How to create/use Zoom Level presets in #ClipStudioPaint

If you have closed lines, you can just Click > Hold > Drag the stylus through your shapes to Fill with colors or Select areas faster.

Thanks for the suggestion ... in this case the tool won't work since I dont wanted to multi-post new content but, somehow, "import" the post from twit3r to bsky. Automatically.
Manually is the way since, in the process, I can revisit some of this tips I myself had forgotten. :))

🍎 On Ipad the option is located in the OS Settings - App.
🤖 On Android, tap and hold the app icon and choose 'Reset to original defaults'

Hold the *Shift* key (or Mac equivalent) right after open #ClipStudioPaint , to initialize (reset) various options of the program like Brushes, Preferences, Shortcuts...

The option [ Canvas Recovery Information ] deletes the backup files that, sometimes, eats up a lot of space on your disk.

Some options of the layer panel would be visible only when you scale the panel.

Preview spreads 📖 still (imho) a valid reasons for #ClipStudioPaint EX

- New File, Set size/dpi
- Mark Multiple Pages and Cover Page
- Go to Import>Batch Import to place your art on each page
- Adjust and Define a first page
- Preview with File>Export>3D Preview

For past #ClipStudioPaint versions a quick method to test different camera angles when posing 3D mannequins is to just duplicate🎥🎥 the layer ...

In later versions you now have an option to duplicate the camera in the object list.

With the Fill (Bucket) tool in #ClipStudioPaint click, hold and drag to color faster! 💦

In #ClipStudioPaint Figures and Selection Areas will follow the 📏Perspective Grid 📐 automatically! Just make sure to "pull" your shapes/selections towards the vanishing point.

You can use the same keyboard shortcut for different brushes, so each press will cycle through them. In the example, I use [I] to trigger all my [I]nking tools.
