The algorithm of IG was chronological at first… and it worked quite well. I grew a few thousand followers within a few weeks and there was real interaction on my posts. Even my Webshop went very well through this. It only became shitty after Suckerbird swallowed IG.

Been feeling like that for some time now. The thing is that it’s like Twitter which was never really useful for visual arts. More of a „news site“ than a platform to show your work. IG used to be perfect for that before it became part of the Metaverse and turned into a sh*tplace. 😔
