All I heard about on every news station after the Sox won on Tuesday was how in every Wild Card series, the team that won game 1 won the series. And every reporter acted like it was a foregone conclusion the Sox would advance. Stop saying it before. If they won on Wednesday, then mention it. 😡

Exactly! I know he’s very talented but he is just not able to make this role work for some reason.There are times when he seems physically uncomfortable and it just takes me out of the scene. It’s a combo of terrible writing and weird direction.

We could do a whole podcast episode to discuss just what is wrong with the reboot (though I love the New Class and may start referring to it as such moving forward) starting with but not exclusively about how wrong Hugh Dancy is for the role of Nolan Price.

To each their own. I think Mike Cutter brought an energy to those episodes that was lacking. And yes, I know Linus Roache is British. I think his American accent is excellent, definitely better than Hugh Dancy’s clenched jaw forced accent in the reboot.

Happy anniversary to one of my all-time favorite shows - Law & Order. I remember reading about it in a TV preview article at the supermarket and started watching on day one. It’s my TV comfort food. Amazing writing, compelling stories…the reboot is sadly a poor adaptation.

Aww man, really? I LOVE me some Mike Cutter. I think that whole cast re-energized the show that seemed to be on the decline. Jack as DA was an inspired choice. He was more involved than Adam, Nora and Arthur were. I liked that. He’s too amazing a character to sit in the background.
