I'm making some progress on my latest sewing project. A nice crisp cotton for the Helen's Closet Gilbert Shirt. I'm debating on snaps instead of buttons. For the follow on project, I plan on a WBM Tropical Shirt for the hubs. #garmentsewing #sewsky

All of the buttons are finally on. 13 button holes. 😐 Then I redid the collar. It wasn’t sitting right so I took it off, ironed it into submission then flipped it over before sewing everything together. Much better. Quality control seems to approve.

The whole project is clever but I especially love the zipper. The creativity used to create this and to think to have a way to open it up...🤯.
