מסלולי יום מלונדון מוזילים מאד התחבורה, בגלל המרחק הקצר אבל גם ההנחה המשמעותית על כרטיס חזור באותו היום. אפשר לעשות ככה גם את שבע האחיות, ועוד מלא אפשרויות (יכול לפרט אם זה כיוון שתשקלו, מן הסתם נוף יותר כפרי, פחות פראי)

העיירה ברקון שוכנת ממש לרגלי הרכס אז אפשר לצאת ממנה בקלות ברגל לכמה מסלולים. האוטובוס מקרדיף גם עובר (לפחות היה עובר) בתחילת המסלול לפסגת pen y fan, שגם נגישה ברגל מברקון ואפשר לסגור ככה לולאה (אנחנו הספקנו רק את זה, כי למחרת התחיל מבול). נראה לי ש-3 ימים שם לגמרי מספיקים
