Baldur's Gate is a game series made by Canadian devs based on a setting made by a Canadian writer written for a system made by American designers.
The writing went from more or less Am. E. in 1/2 to full on Brit slang in BG3.

As a gatekeeping enthusiast, I'm not sure if BG3 giving you virtually no info regarding your char's class progression is one of the worst or best design decisions in the game
