You’re right. So in my scenario we would still have to win one more game to clinch and they would have to win today and lose next week then we would have the number 2 locked down in the third tie breaker at worst

If I am correct and the Steelers win today and lose next week they would be .500 in common opponents (Colts, Ravens, Chiefs and Jets). We would be 3-2 at worst (if we lose to the Jets next week). We would then have the tie breaker
