Lowkey happy 2025 is over.
Early this year I fell into a very deep hole due to drug abuse and pretty much spent the remainder of the year climbing out of it again.
Hope to look forward now and leave the past behind.

Omen Wapta label weekender was so amazing, danced my ass off 😊
It became one of my fav record labels and really wanna play from it more often but man, its difficult to implement that sound in my sets.

Also regarding my atmospheric sets, I really want to do one like that again, but the issue is that it is very difficult to find fitting tracks for it.
When one pops up when browsing for music I try to save it, but haven't found enough yet for a full set.

First time in like a year that I will be doing 2 DJ sets in one week!

Tonight 9pm CEST I'll be playing my usual stuff at ScopeCreepClub.

Saturday morning 8am CEST I'll be doing an experimental closing set for Byte.Cats. I'll keep it a bit of a secret what I will be playing, but it'll be fast 👀

I wished there were just a few groups that were more focusing on 2-3 hour sets. I'm also really interested in what some DJs in the scene can do with a longer playing time that can give them more space to mess around in their sets.

Asti rant time:
There is one thing in VR DJ'ing that I really don't like, and that is the standardisation of 1 hour sets.

I understand that groups wanna have as many DJs as possible on their events, but for some music styles its horrible on terms of storytelling and progression.

Sadly not that active DJ'ing in VR lately, with my new job I have less time, especially to prepare DJ sets.

I've seen multiple servers and VR groups where this person is still active and/or even a partner of, like nothing happened. Why dont we get rid of these kind of people?

Not gonna throw names here, but there is this dj that did quite fucked up things like saying very racist stuff, saying sexually inappropriate things towards people without consent and various other stuff all with proof and still having a big platform in the vrchat scene.

My question is... how?

Honestly only gaining 0,5kg in muscle mass in 2,5 months in the gym kinda feels... disappointing? Despite having the idea that I work out more intensively, have gone up in weights for every exercise and eating lots of protein.
Have gained 1,5kg in fat which is good, since I'm still underweight 🫡

I played a 135BPM house set which does sound relatively fast for this specific genre, but it's more like an old school sounding style of house that I usually play, where this tempo fits better in my opinion.

Sometimes I find one of these very old tracks from the 90s or early 2000s and am like "this is so fucking beautiful, I need to play this" because of its nostalgic sound.

Then I'm hooked on this track for a couple of weeks, till I find the next old track to get addicted to 🫡

I really should do a house set again some time 🤔

Very happy to say that I will be opening Velvet's anniversary edition this Saturday. I played for them a dozen of times already and it kind of allows me to play a bit more "sexier" sets.

Currently brainstorming on what I should play this edition, got some ideas of tracks already though 🫡
