Day 15 sketches, these examples best show how bad these paper take watercolor. Those aren’t salt effects the paper is coated with yellow tint that turns to gel with water leaving it streaky + spotty

Sizing gone bad but you can save the it with sizing liquid or a mix of gelatin and distilled water.

Holbein makes one but I use Jin San Tu brand due to the better price and size.

Sketchbook page 13, I experimented more with water soluble pencil. The smooth texture made it difficult to build up intense color. Ended up using ballpoint pen.
