True, but what can compare to that? That song was very influential on my work as a writer.
It was just the one novella, and it isn't published, but he really influenced me. The characters were going to move to Phoenix, but I changed it to Albuquerque because I was listening to a Weird Al playlist.

There will always be another fanfic writer for them to latch onto. Don't avoid doing something positive because someone might make it a part of their excuse.

The difference between an algorithm and an allcraprhythm is that the algorithm serves the user's purposes and the allcraprhythm serves the purposes of the company exploiting the users.
To tell which, see if it's on by default. And quietly back on weeks after you turned it off.

The anime I just watched has a woman named "Hugwell". Is this the kids version of James Bond?

Well, yeah, if you say something as offensive as "someone actually enjoyed pineapple on pizza", of course everyone is going to be upset. Pizza Hut made that claim 5 years ago and I've sworn my descendants will never eat there for at least 15 generations.

Chart labeled "Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers: All Items in U.S. City Average" showing a dramatic increase in prices from 2020 to mid-2022, followed by a still-steep climb from 256% of the index years to 295% in mid-2022 and 327% by January of 2026. Index is of years 1982-1984. Source is US Bureau of Labor Statistics via FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data).
Let's just ignore that eggs went up for a different reason 2 years later, were a predominantly regional spike, only partially reduced before spiking again and falling again. Let's also just ignore that it's a perishable farm good.
And while we're at it, why not just ignore the consumer price index.

I've noticed all the overly-verbose-for-ads news outlets adopt a new weirdly useless word about once a month. Maybe he's warning you donnybrook is the next one coming.

If Walmart can't be bothered to pay for a freaking clerk's salary to run a single register, they have no business hyperinflating their prices like this.

I have to admit, I'm really annoyed by how Youtubers I follow are abusing Youtube's collaboration feature. They separated out their channels so they wouldn't drive away people not interested in their other content...and now just merge them back with every-video "collabs" with their second channel.

Ones like high school are more often going to be for social data gathering like that Facehuggerbook run by a xenomorph in an unconvincing human disguise. They use that to trick people into thinking they are forming connections with fellow high school survivors while being datafarmed as livestock.

My Latin class had that too. I did actually learn that stuff, but I transferred in, so I have no idea if they just didn't pay attention or weren't taught.

Can confirm. You don't want to be around me when I'm wearing a tie. It's like being around the Hulk when he's angry. Except I turn more blue-ish and don't gain any super powers.

The werewolf group I used to play with was keenly aware of that one. So instead, I used the "I'm trying really hard" strategy. I carefully analyzed every game from a position of ignorance and built up networks with that. Whether or not I was the wolf.
Downside was a spree of "kill him first" games.

I do that too, but the under-video recommendations still irk me. Especially on desktop where they pop up on screen when the video ends.
The all gore rhythm particularly loves to spam me with IP stealing click-bait for children (e.g. "Elsa and Superman play") after watching Muppet songs.

Yup. I've been doing my own shopping since the late 90s and this past couple years is the first time in my life prices swing up to 70% depending on what day AND grocery store I go to.
I'm pretty sure it's testing the waters for price gouging with "big sales" to normal to close out inventory.

That's actually part of the debate with quantum physics. David Mermin famously described the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics as "shut up and calculate" as opposed to the Einstein camp that wanted to seek out the underlying mechanisms.

I mostly agree with what you've said, but breaking it up with alternatives to "said" is what "just use said" is meant to discourage. We're supposed to break it up other ways:
"Hello." Michael said.
Susan waved, "Hello."
"Is that the only word we know?"
"Yeah, I think it is." She said with a smirk.

That comes to 22m of those batteries needed per day for 2022 power consumption drawn off battery alone and for 2024 it was 28m. EV sales in 2022 were 10.5m. EV sales in 2024 were 17m. Even ignoring that grid scale batteries are a separate product stream anyway, we're getting there fast.
