All I can think about on International Women's Day is how those 150+ young girls killed in the Iran school airstrike might have benefited from a future without the Iranian regime had they not been victims of Trump's war.

An unconscionable atrocity.

We must demand transparency and accountability.

I looked into her eyes and said: - War is everywhere, no need to search for it... It starts in our mind first. War is blood and bones of the utmost Ignorance. A mere invention of the richest profiting from poor's people judgement. It steals your soul and leaves you with nothing but ghosts. A facet of a great lie... there never was a war, nor there were enemies... only land to steal and innocents to kill. I tried to silence my guilt instead of that lie, but it kept coming back. Taking a life makes you no hero, even less a honourable one. I'll tell you what heroes do and you'll decide who cowards are. Heroes walk a silent path, known to no one but them. They are... an unexpected whisper that shows you a new direction. a stranger who saves you from a house on fire. a mother who shields her child, a nurse, a doctor who will do anything for you to see a new day, a consequence of a choice of taking a life or saving thousands. In the end though, they will teach you how to be there for the next stranger. I feel like I owe you an apology my dear, all this talking to you, when you already know all of that. The caretaker in his drenched coat, asks me if the epitaph is right. "Heroes walk a silent path, known to no one but them". – Yes, I said... that's my daughter... my silent hero.
