I'm not saying "don't help" but what I am saying is to take a minute, pause, reflect—and identify whether the person in need wants to be overwhelmed by options, or just needs space.

Space to share with their peers their experience, and lift a huge burden emotionally.

Also, asking for help fucking sucks. Money always comes with strings and expectations, it's why if anyone comes on this platform asking for it—assume the worst has happened, and if you can chip in, please do.

But I'm witnessing people have to remind everyone of boundaries, and the purpose of posts

Is the person looking for solutions, or comfort?

Sometimes, we want to yell! We want to vent in these silly blue-tinted platforms.

Because we have—literally—tried everything.

"Have you reached out to XYZ? Sued them? Applied for unemployment?"

Yes, yes, yes.

Having been looking for full-time work since 2023, I understand that this industry is full of well-intentioned folks who during hardships want nothing more but to help.

Help those affected by layoffs, help out peers during abhorrent situations.

But I ask everyone to take a pause, and think—
