While I agree with your premise, trump’s action is not without precedent. Let’s be careful our rhetoric doesn’t get too far ahead of reality. Given trump’s incompetence, sit for him to screw something up. And also wait for outcomes.

There are tons of people who write “opinions” about current events, for example, does the president or Congress have the right and responsibility to declare war?
