I’m not sure! I don’t remember that happening the last time I was in a trial, but that was also in a different county and 10 years ago. Maybe it just depends on the judge.

We also got to meet the judge and the lawyers afterwards, everyone was very pleasant. They asked us for feedback so they can know what they need to improve on. The case had multiple charges presented, some of them were clear. But others we were hung on and didn’t reach a unanimous verdict.

It did work out! Got it done this week. I got chosen for the trial and am glad I did. It was a short one, but I enjoy seeing the trial process play out and being able to analyze what evidence we’ve been presented with to form a verdict.

Thankfully I don’t get the breakfast problem anymore since I started using an automatic feeder! But now I get the “um ur in my spot” alarm

Since its Saturday, I planned to sleep in this morning. Unfortunately, the spot that I sleep in is also the same as Perky’s “daytime sleep spot” so she kept coming up and walking around me and waking me up so I can get up and move for her 😭

I bet if she was a dude they wouldn’t even be having that conversation

Living in the era of streaming has its pros and cons I guess

I don’t need cliffhangers to keep me wanting to watch the show. I already want to watch the show without them.

What ever happened to having the resolution of the conflicts in a TV show episode happen at the end of the episode instead of the beginning of the next? Or have the resolution of a season-long conflict happen at the end of the season instead of the beginning of the next?
