One of our lovey local coffee shops called Mendocino Cookie Company has started a kindness campaign where they donate to a local non-profit every month.

During covid we got out of the habit of getting a stamp card but now we will again and donate!🥰 such a nice idea! #visitmendocino

Red clay tile 6”x6” with Spock’s face and hand outstretched in the Vulcan sign for live long and prosper. The glaze is baby blue background with cream and black Spock body. The silhouette is earthenware red from the clay body.

I found this handmade tile at a consignment store today. I’m pretty happy about it.

Cloud-like billowing form with a linear plane cut. Wood-fire surfaces creates a soft peachy variation on the surface of the porcelain. The sculpture is sitting on gravel after being unloaded from the kiln.

I’ve been working through some new forms for a large-scale commission project. I fired this porcelain maquette last month in the train kiln at Cobb Mountain Art and Ecology Project. I hope to focus on this project over the summer break. 🤞🤞
