You can find submission information on our website, but we share internally in rare cases. Typically, we leave it up to the author. Once you hear back from one CMA agent considering your project, though, you're always free to query another!

Previously published work can be really tricky to resell, so while I don't reject it outright, I'm extremely selective. I prefer to see new, unpublished projects from authors who have been published in the past. Then, if they do become a client, we can strategize for their past work!

I'm looking for MG horror with original premises and clear conflicts. Those details are going to be true across submissions and age groups, but I'm much pickier about adult SFF, and I think clarity is particularly important for young readers.

Finally, I'm open to nonfiction for adults and teens! I want to learn something new, discover unique angles on topics I love, and find accessible projects. I'm actively seeking memoirs/narrative; true crime stories; women's, POC, and LGBTQ+ issues; gardening/sustainability; and food content. #MSWL

I also want to build my list of exciting, meaningful, fun, and funny MG fiction! Again, I especially hope to see SFF and horror submissions with original premises and clear conflicts, but I'm also open to contemporary stories and mysteries. In everything, I hope to see strong messages! #MSWL
