This horrific device is called a "spiked muzzle" and it is used in #meat and #dairy production.

It's designed to be so painful for the mother #cow that she'll push her baby away to avoid the pain. An example of how farm animals are mistreated in today’s cruel, industrial food system. 💔

There are many animals in need of a helping hand.
