🔄 Re-indexing rebuilds the search index from source systems—a routine but resource-intensive process that may take up to 50 hours.

📚 To minimise disruption, this work is scheduled for the weekend. During this time, browsing and search results may temporarily appear incomplete.

🔧 As part of our ongoing technical maintenance, we’ll be re-indexing Solr for the OAPEN Library this weekend.

Solr powers browsing and search in the OAPEN Library via DSpace. Periodic full re-indexing helps maintain performance, stability, and accurate discovery.
