Yes, DO is essentially a "real" doctor now but they're still required to learn some of the woo. Seeing as most people go this route because it's cheaper and easier to get into the programs there is a bit of a quality difference, but the course work is just as rigorous. But the added woo is dubious.

Chiropractors are called “doctor” even though they are closer to 900-number psychics than anything resembling medicine. And then there are osteopaths who hold graduate-level degrees and do practice indeed medicine, but a lot of their education is spent studying wizardry.
