so i dont know if i have a date or not tomorrow and i know this is not the most fucked up scenario or whatever, but i was so hopeful and i might have fucked myself over by not doublechecking these things before jumping on the opportunity to like have a nice date and stuff

anyway, so i decided to ask him about it, literally very direct and straightforward, AND HE HASNT ANSWERED, and i know for sure he probably wont answer tonight because its after midnight

but thats not all i want, i want to meet someone for a more long term relationship!!! and sure theres nothing that says i cant just have a couple of short term things in the meantime, but at the moment i dont really feel comfortable about it!!

then i decide to talk to my mom about it and all, and as im showing her his profile, i notice that he has only checked the box for interested in "short term fun" 🫥

anyway i excitedly chat with him about setting up a date, and we said how about tomorrow sometime after hes left his kids at their moms!! so we discussed place and time, ALL GREAT

he took the initiate because i felt too shy!! like it felt too forward we barely had chatted over like maybe a two day period

literally matched and chatted with a sweet, charming man and i thought we got on so well, so i was excited to set up a date!!

i need to shout into the void about how my first plunge back into the dating apps might have been a cold plunge!!!!!! (THIS HAPPENED TODAY LITERALLY COUPLE HOURS AGO)
